PapayaMobile Launches Android User Multiplier
PapayaMobile launches Android user multiplierChinese-based social gaming specialists PapayaMobile has launched a new service AppFlood designed to reduce the cost per user acquisition for Android app developers.
The company claims developers may pay as much as $6 (£3.80) per user when attempting to grow by acquisition, often at a loss to the developer.
AppFlood enables developers to acquire new users through a cross-promotion model and a commission-free ad market.
Developers will be able to share users via AppFlood, multiplying their overall number of users. PapayaMobile claims AppFlood is also the only platform that allows developers to share users in this way.
Developers may also buy and sell installs on their commission-free install market, bypassing ad network fees. AppFlood users insert standardised ad units into their apps - either banner, interstitial, or a games panel.
Si Shen, CEO of PapayaMobile says: "Developers share with us their anxiety over the ever-increasing cost of user acquisition, so we decided to create a solution that compliments any mobile strategy. We made AppFlood completely free so developers can get their games in the hands of users in a way that’s simple, flexible, and fair."
AppFlood users will not have to be integrated into Papaya’s social network. As part of the launch, developers will receive 1,000 installs for each app they connect.
